Over the past few years customer response to the camping reservation system has been overwhelmingly positive. Campers appreciate the benefits, value, convenience and quality customer service that the system provides. Most notably the reservation system offers:

  • The assurance of a specific site waiting for a customer upon arrival, the negation of long waiting lines at the campgrounds on weekends
  • The option to use or not use the service is up to the customer (first come/first serve camping is available when campsites are not reserved)

  • A centralized service (one telephone number) to make camping reservations, one can call 877-422-6762 from anywhere in North America

  • No long distance telephone call charges to make reservations or to contact customer service

  • Internet Service for placing reservations, viewing availability, checking on site placements in the campgrounds and the specific amenities available for each location

  • Trained reservation agents to assist in the process of finding a suitable site in a campground

  • Referral service if the desired campground is full

  • A trained customer service organization to help resolve any issues with reservations

  • A completely integrated computerized campground management system to assist first come/first serve customers in finding a site

  • A rapid check-in process at campgrounds for our first come/first serve customers, as well as our reservation customers.

Comments or questions regarding the $9.25 reservation transaction charge may be addressed to (617) 626-1480. Thank you for your support of public campgrounds. We look forward to serving you at a MA State Park.
